Historic Furner’s Hotel in the heart of Ulverstone is currently seeking a superstar Food and Beverage (Bar and Gaming) Attendant to join our team. With a comfortable bistro, excellent budget accommodation and gaming room. Furner attracts locals and tourists alike with it’s a la carte menu, history, and amazing staff. Come join our team!
The role
In this role you will be responsible for attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages and providing exceptional customer service.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Managing and maintaining gaming functions and operations
- Managing TAB functions
- Day to day operations of gaming rooms
- Assisting patrons with both food and beverage orders, inquires and complaints
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
- Knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations, and procedures
- An understanding of food & beverage products and services
- A professional & mature “can do” attitude with the ability to work autonomously
- A “can do” attitude with ability to take intuitive
License and qualifications needed
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Keno Writer & Gaming Machine Attendant or Senior Keno Writer and Gaming Machine Supervisor Certificates
- TAB experience would be an advantage
Please note to be successful for this role you need to be able to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays.
