What you can expect in a day in the role 

At Mackey’s, our Bistro Supervisor supports the Management team through overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bistro, supervision of staff, leading by example of outstanding customer service, stock and cash control, employee and customer safety and administration requirements, in accordance with legislation and policies and procedures.

Our full time Bistro Supervisor works across the lunch and dinner service times and is a support to all areas of the Hotel.

What you’ll bring to the role 

If you have demonstrated experience in Food & Beverage, a passion delivering outstanding service and are interested in developing your career with Vantage Group you may just be who we are looking for to fill our Bistro Supervisor role. You will also bring to the role;

• Demonstrated capability in supervising shifts and coordinating staff along with an ability to motivate and train others
• The ability to think on your feet and be proactive within the business in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with staff and customers
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, along with a keen eye for detail
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate and Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) Certificate, or the ability to obtain one

An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
